It may not have occurred to you, but getting adequate rest can play a role in preventing dehydration. Insufficient sleep may increase the likelihood of dehydration. If you fail to get adequate rest, it may play a part in being dehydrated. 

Try to Eat a Fruit Once a Day 

Adding more fruit to your diet can do you a lot of good by helping you stay hydrated. Particular fruits contain plenty of water and healthful nutrients, which is why it’s beneficial to try to eat fruits once a day. Fruits with high water content include cantaloupe, watermelon, peaches, and strawberries. Eating these fruits daily can help prevent dehydration.
