What Is
Peptide Therapy?

★★★★★Nurse-Owned · South Boston · Est. 2018

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the same building blocks as proteins — that act as precise biological messengers in your body. Unlike drugs that force a reaction, peptides signal your body to do what it already knows how to do, just better.

The Basics

Your Body Already
Makes Peptides

Peptides are not foreign substances — your body produces thousands of them naturally. They regulate virtually every biological process: growth hormone release, tissue repair, immune function, metabolism, and mood. As we age, peptide production declines. Peptide therapy restores these signals.

Think of peptides as text messages your cells send to each other. When you're young, the signal is strong and clear. Over time — or under stress, injury, or metabolic dysfunction — those messages get garbled. Therapeutic peptides restore the signal.

  • Work with your body's natural pathways — not against them
  • Highly targeted — each peptide has a specific job
  • Stimulate your body's own production, not synthetic replacement
  • Generally well-tolerated with minimal side effect profiles
  • Prescribed and monitored by a licensed NP
Why IV League

The IV League Difference

Nurse-Owned & Operated

Founded by Courtney Jones, RN — author of The Peptide Nurse and a former Children's Hospital Boston nurse — with clinical direction by Olivia Kelly, NP. Every protocol is designed and supervised by clinical staff, not a sales team.

FDA-Regulated Compounding

We partner exclusively with Olympia Pharmacy and Empower Pharmacy — two of the most respected FDA-registered compounding pharmacies in the country.

Labs Required Every Protocol

We don't ship peptides based on an online questionnaire. Every client gets a full baseline lab review and NP consultation.

Real Clinic. South Boston.

Brick-and-mortar clinic in South Boston plus mobile IV services. We are your neighbors, not a telehealth company in another state.

The Process

How Peptide Therapy Works at IV League

01

Free Consultation

Meet with our NP to discuss your health goals, symptoms, and what you want to optimize. We match you to the right peptide or stack.

02

Baseline Labs

We order or review your baseline bloodwork — CMP, CBC, lipid panel, IGF-1, HbA1c, and thyroid. Labs confirm you're a good candidate.

03

NP Prescribes

Your protocol is prescribed and sent to Olympia or Empower Pharmacy. Your medication ships directly to your door in Massachusetts within days.

04

Ongoing Monitoring

Our team checks in monthly. We track your progress, adjust dosing, and repeat labs at regular intervals to ensure your protocol keeps working safely.
