Looking for a sauna in Boston? IV League Hydration runs private infrared sauna sessions at two South Boston studios. This guide covers prices, hours, locations, and what a session feels like.
Sauna prices in Boston
- Infrared sauna: $45 for a 30-minute private session
- Unlimited sauna membership: $189 per month
You get a private suite, so no shared benches. Towels and water are included.
Where to find us
Both are an easy trip from Back Bay, the Seaport, Dorchester, and nearby towns.
Hours
Weekdays by appointment (closed Wednesdays). Weekends 10 AM to 2 PM, and the last sauna slot starts at 1:30 PM.
Infrared vs. traditional sauna
A traditional sauna heats the air to around 180°F or more. An infrared sauna warms your body directly at a lower air temperature, usually 120–150°F. Many people find it easier to relax for the whole 30 minutes. You still sweat a lot.
What to expect
- Check in at the front desk. Our staff will show you to your private suite.
- Change, shower if you like, and sit or lie back for 30 minutes.
- Cool down, rehydrate, and head out. Or pair it with a cold plunge or an IV drip.
Is it safe for me?
Most healthy adults do fine in an infrared sauna. If you are pregnant, have heart problems or low blood pressure, or take medications that affect heat tolerance, check with your doctor first. Drink water before and after your session.
